I mean he did fight off every single shot by Brady and once they got to sudden victory he opened up and took out Connor pretty quickly. Maybe that's his strategy, the announcer mentioned that he had won several matches late in the third. If CB had scored at least one takedown, who knows maybe it changes the entire match. To me, I don't think Cleary felt threatened and was just picking his time, but I'm not sure why it took him so long.
